First National Survey on Teachers Attitudes and Practices Re: Digital Games
From Michael Levine, Executive Director, Joan Ganz Cooney Center for Children’s Media & Research in an early morning email:
It is my pleasure to give you an advance look at a national survey and three video case studies the Cooney Center, with the generous support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Knight Foundation and Brain Pop will release today at the New School Venture Fund-Aspen Institute Summit in San Francisco. The work is part of a larger set of resources being developed as part of the work of the Games and Learning Publishing Council, a joint project of E Line Media and the Cooney Center. The survey and case study project is directed by our colleague Jessica Millstone, a researcher and teacher educator based at the Center and Bank Street College. Attached here is the press release as well as an in-depth deck describing the survey findings, which were collected by Vera Quest. We would highly value your comments, tweets and sharing with your networks as you find valuable.
Many thanks! Michael
